About

Most follow-up toolswere built for thewrong conversation.

They optimize the message you send. The decision was never made by the person receiving it.

Room Two started from a single observation: in consultative selling, the meeting is rarely where the answer comes from. The answer comes later, in a kitchen, a car, or a budget review, from a retelling by someone who was doing their best to remember what you said.

Every tool in this category tries to improve the follow-up message. None of them address the fact that the follow-up message is going to the wrong person — or rather, to only one of the right people.

What we believe

Four convictions the product is built on.

01
Clarity converts better than pressure. And it ages better
A document that explains itself honestly — including its limits — outperforms one designed to push, because the person reading it is usually skeptical, tired, and deciding with a partner.
02
Structure is the product. Not a limitation of it
Goals before options. Cost before reasoning. Reasoning before the next step. That order is what makes a document credible to a reader who wasn't there — which is why you can hide a section but never move it above the one before it.
03
The human approves. Always. No exceptions, no shortcuts
Software drafts. A licensed professional decides. In a regulated business, any other arrangement is a liability waiting for a date on the calendar.
04
Restraint is a feature.Especially in what we measure
We could build scroll tracking and heat maps tomorrow. We won't. A client reading about their family deserves a document, not an instrumented funnel.
Where we are

Early, and specific about it.

We started in life insuranceBecause the absent decision-maker is most obvious there, and because independent agents own their book and their tooling decisions.
The same document works elsewhereMedicare, financial planning, and consultative proposals share the structure. Only the vocabulary changes.
We publish no statisticsYou won't find a close-rate lift or a conversion number anywhere on this site, because we don't have data we'd stand behind. When we do, we'll show the method.
We'll tell you when it doesn't fitSame-day, single-decision-maker sales have no second room. We'd rather say so than sell a subscription that gets cancelled in month two.

Have a look at the thing itself.

The sample page says more about how we think than this page does.
